Developed in partnership with the University of Glasgow Psychology department and Policy Hub Scotland, this event focused on the research developed by the University to better understand young people and their sleep habits in order to offer the correct support.
The University have been working with partner schools around Scotland over the past year and this event was an opportunity to discuss the findings to date and the evidence around social media habits and wellbeing.
Educating young people on good sleep habits and the impacts and benefits of ensuring a good sleep cycle is becoming more important for a young person's mental health and attainment. This project will continue over the next year and a further event will be hosted in 2021 on up-to-date findings.
